Marcus Alston

Marcus Alston is a graduate of Cisco’s Find Lead Explore-Rising Leaders(FLEX-RL) program— a post MBA/Masters HR leadership rotational program. Currently he is Chief of Staff to Tschudy Smith, SVP, People & Communities (ONEx & GSMC Communities). Marcus supports the Sales & Marketing and ONEx Community Partner teams by overseeing orchestration, business operations, and special projects. His overarching ‘why’ threaded through all of his work is to empower people to participate in their own unfolding. In previous roles, he has served as a Team Consultant Manager, a Transformation Partner in Cisco’s Customer Experience business, and as a consultant on P&C’s Inclusion and Collaboration Solutions and Inclusive Growth(orchestration) teams. Come to him when you want to accelerate team performance by creating a culture of belonging. Originally from Lansing, MI, he now lives in San Jose, CA with his partner and their dog, Daisy. Classically trained to be a professional orchestral musician, Marcus plays clarinet in his free time. What topics can’t you get him to stop talking about?
